"Soup Parts" (2006, 18" x 24" heavy white paper) was part of a drawing class back in 2006. I used a set of pencils for the outline and fine tip pen (black ink) to fill in the shading/shadows.

"Cold Forest" (2006, 2' x 3' white heavy paper) was a final exam assignment using pencil and fine tip pen (black ink) for a drawing class back in 2006. This piece took me about one week to finish.

"Geometrically Correct" (2006 18" x 24" white heavy paper) was part of a series of assignments for a drawing class back in 2006. I believe the assignment was to make a mirror image and to match its distance, shading, and shape as best as possible.

Called, "Bathroom Essentials," I did this one back in 2006, for an art class (college). The class had a period of practicing with fine tip pen drawing techniques, using cross-hatching style, dots, etc. "Bathroom Essentials" (2006, 16" x 20" drawing paper) using fine tip pen (black ink).

Called, "The Pots and Pans Family," I did this piece back in 2006 for an art class (college). This was an exercise with the fine tip pen (black ink). I took pots and pans from my house, and drew it out with cross-hatching and dot techniques. Called, "The City of Perspective," I did this piece back in 2006 for an art class (college). The assignment was to create a drawing with a vanishing point. I decided to try it with a two-point perspective. "The City of Perspective" (2006, 11" x 14" drawing paper) using a ruler, graphite pencils, and fine tip pen (black ink).

Called "The Skull," this was part of a drawing assignment (during high school). We had to do draw what we saw. "The Skull" (2006, 18" x 24" on drawing paper) using graphite pencils.
- Fruits and Vegetables Stick Together, fruits, vegetables, group.
Called, "Fruits and Vegetables Stick Together," I did this piece back in 2006 for an art class (college). This was a basic watercolor paint exercise. "Fruits and Vegetables Stick Together" (2006, 18" x 24" watercolor paper) using watercolor paint.

Called, "Tired Eyes," I was messing around with charcoal (vine) and graphite pencils. I liked the eyes, it gives off the comic book unnatural appearance. "Tired Eyes" (2014, 8" x 11" drawing paper) using graphite pencils and charcoal (vine).

Called, "All Walks of Life," I did this one back in 2006, for an art class (college). I think this assignment was to use multiple mediums in one drawing. "All Walks of Life" (2006, 18" x 24" mixed media paper) using watercolor paint, graphite pencil, and fine tip pen (black ink).

Called, "Warmth," I did this piece back in 2006 for an art class (college). This was an exercise with water color paint (cakes). I gathered from my house pots, pans, a long knife, and 4 onions, and came up with this. "Warmth" (2006, 18" x 24" water color paper) using graphite pencils, and water color paint (cakes).

This was part of a drawing assignment back in 2006 (in college). Students had to take a fruit and incorporate the fruit with the model. In addition, we had to use something based on our "realm of reality" (say, for instance, Fabric, which is what I used for the top portion of the model's hat). Unfortunately, the professor chose the type of fruit for me, and so I was stuck with the banana (go ahead, laugh). Called, "The Inanimate Object Party," I did this piece back in 2006 for an art (college). The assignment was to take a position within the studio and draw what we saw (using whatever we wanted). Called, "The Color Wheel Goes Round and Round," I did this piece back in 2006 for an art class (college). The assignment was to create a color wheel using watercolor paint (cakes). Called, "Sleepy Mountain," I was testing out oil pastels (hard) on basic drawing paper. This piece gives the illusion of the ocean or a lake, with the mountain emphasizing its height. "Sleepy Mountain" (2014, 11" x 14" drawing paper) using oil pastels (hard).

Called, "Eye of the Galaxy," I wanted to try out metallic water colored pencils on black artigan paper. This drawing has very little light on it. "Eye of the Galaxy (Dark)" (2014, 11" x 14" black artigan drawing paper) using metallic water colored pencils.

Called, "Eye of the Galaxy," I wanted to try out metallic water colored pencils on black artigan paper. Notice how the drawing changes with the light completely over the drawing, it brightens the galaxy. This was my first 3'x4' painting. I was a bit worried at first, because I didn't paint something at this size. Six hours later, this is what I came up with. "Hidden Beauty" (2010, 3' x 4' canvas) using acrylic paint.

This painting is my VERY first painting (done for my high school painting class). I remember taking this home, with the paint, and the technique in mind. I wasn't sure if I nailed it or not. But after about a dozen people looked it over, and I saw their "awed" expression, I figured that I had something. Funny how things work out. Part of the scenery series, "My Little Town" (2010, 16" 20" canvas) was trying to capture a nice town sunset with lights on the bottom. Used acrylic paint.

Part of the scenery series, when I was working on this painting, all I could think of was a farm's tall grass field. "Fire Sunset (Western)" (2010, 8" x "12" flat canvas board) was made with acrylic paint.

If you looked at the previous image ("Twin Galaxy Naked"), I call this "Pure" because this is what I wanted to do, which was to use Neon paint. My first attempt to use "glow in the dark" paint.

Yet another high school painting assignment. This time, the class had to do something with the elements of "3-D" (if I recall correctly). So, I thought to myself, "Why not the Millennium Park with a face on it?!" (Hint: Can you guess the person's face on this painting? ^_^) "The Face" (2006, 6" x 8" canvas) using thin wood, and acrylic paint.

A high school painting assignment, students had to incorporate inanimate objects to his/her painting. I decided to use Swarovski (C) crystals and glue them on (they're not expensive). "Simple Beauty" (2006, 10" x 12" canvas) using acrylic paint, and Swarovski (C) crystals.

I was out walking around my neighborhood (yikes!) and I looked around to take in the evening sunset. When I turned around, this is what I saw. The whole scene. I was lucky, for I carrying a cell phone with a built-in camera, and took a picture of this scene (well, I did the abstract acrylic style). Called, "Delicate Flower," this was for a client of mine who likes lavender. I decided to do this with very small and fine acrylic brushes on a small canvas. I added the water effect on the pedals using white diluted in water. "Delicate Flower" (2014, 2" x 6" canvas) using acrylic paint.
